Congratulations to CWP’s People and Organisational Development (POD) Team who have been nominated for a national award, recognising ‘Excellence in Public Service HR’. The Personnel Today Awards celebrate the very best achievements and innovations in People Services across the UK.
The team (for this award, including Human Resources, Organisational Development, People Information, Resourcing/Temporary Staffing, Workforce Wellbeing, Education and Equality and Diversity) were nominated for going above and beyond in supporting the Trust’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In particular the teams have been recognised for their flexible, innovative and partnership approach. Among many commendations, responding to rapid national/local policy changes, enabling return to practice and supporting in excess of 35,000 calls to the Workforce Advice Line are key achievements.
Dave Harris, Director of People and Organisational Development, says: “This recognition is thoroughly deserved. The POD team work incredibly hard, often behind the scenes, and I couldn’t be prouder of their individual and collective contributions. The pandemic presented numerous challenges – sometimes all at once! I’d like to thank the team for working so diligently to find the right solutions for CWP and our people.”
The winner is set to be announced at an awards ceremony in November.
