Enabling building works are due to start on the CWP Mother and Baby Unit from Monday 16th October. The build will transform Churton House into a state of the art, dedicated inpatient unit for perinatal mothers, babies and families which is set to open in Autumn 2024.
Car parking arrangements from Monday 16th October
- The existing Churton House car park will close.
- Part of the main car park in-between Bowmere Hospital and Ancora House will temporarily close (shaded blue on the map below).
- Access to car parking at Redesmere and St Cyril’s Rehabilitation Centre will be via the main Bowmere Hospital car park entrance only for 9 weeks (through way marked with white arrows on the map).
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause while tempory works take place. Please allow additional travel time for any visits to the CWP sites on the Countess of Chester Health Park, making best use of drop off zones and public transport where possible.

Further temporary changes to the main Bowmere Hospital/Ancora House car park are anticipated in the new year. Please check our news pages and social media for any updates. Car parking at the 1829 Building, Redesmere and Eastway will stay the same throughout this time.
