Registration is now open for CWP's 2023 Big Book of Best Practice and Annual Members' Meeting (AMM) event, taking place on Friday 17 November 2023.

  • Have the opportunity to attend some wellbeing workshops and wellness sessions alongside pet therapy
  • Learn about what our Trust has achieved over the past year and our future plans
  • Have the time to network with staff, system leaders and partners across the wider healthcare system

Event details:

Date: Friday 17 November 2023

Time: The Annual Members' Meeting will start at 11.30am with The Big Book of Best Practice element of the event opening at 12.00pm. The event will end at 4pm.

Venue: Sycamore House, Ellesmere Port, CH65 9HX

The building meets accessibility requirements and there is a lift to the upper floor.

The nearest public car park is at Marks & Spencer and it has a five hour time limit (Stanney Woods Avenue, Cheshire Oaks Way, Goodwood Square, Cheshire CH65 9GZ). Within a five minute distance is the Coliseum shopping park and there is no time limit for parking on this site (30 Coliseum Way, Ellesmere Port CH65 9HD). Please do not attempt to park in Stanney Oaks housing estate.

Home Safari are attending the event to provide some pet therapy sessions to attendees from 12pm. 

The sessions will be facilitated in a room with a table and chairs so people can sit down and see the animals sat on the table.

The team is bringing a cross section of animals so there is something for everyone. The animals will range from a skunk, meerkat, giant rabbit, dwarf rabbit, skinny pig, chinchilla, cockatiel, tenrec, tortoise to a couple of different species of lizards.

  • No, this is a free event.

Can I bring a supporter?

  • Yes, please register for a ticket for them as well.

How many people will be there?

  • We expect approximately 200 people.

Seating arrangements/room set-up:

  • The AMM room will be set up in theatre style with rows of chairs across the room. There will be an exhibition room that will be set up in a market format, with tables around the room that you can visit for more information. 

Refreshments and food

  • Coffee, tea and water will be available. Lunch will be provided, so please ensure any dietary requirements are provided on the registration form.

Quiet areas, breakout rooms and in-conference support.

  • There will be a quiet area for those who may need it.

How will the workshop sessions run?

  • The workshop sessions will be first-come, first-served and sessions will be repeated throughout the afternoon to provide as many opportunities as possible to attend a session.
