CWP Wirral CAMHS Autism Team
Criteria: Children and young people aged 4-16 years open to Wirral CAMHS for assessment and intervention for moderate to severe Mental Health difficulty. This service only accepts internal referrals for autism assessments for people already open to CAMHS.

Before agreeing with family to screening-
Case manager to check for any previous neurodevelopmental assessments and gather all other available reports, for example, Ed psychology report/Speech and Language therapy/ OT reports
Staff to book a consult with member of neurodevelopmental team who will meet and complete a screening document to assess if screening is appropriate.
