Printable Leaflets
Choice and Medication© Leaflets are designed to help service users, carers and family members understand their medicines better, and to make more informed decisions, best as part of a discussion with a healthcare professional.
There are a range of styles and information leaflets to best suit an individual’s needs. They cannot replace the manufacturer’s leaflets nor talking to a healthcare professional but can help structure and enhance such discussions. The leaflets can be freely used by service users, carers and professionals of this organisation only.
The manufacturers produce full documents (the SmPC) and a Patient Information leaflet (PIL). These can be found by searching here for the UK and here for the Republic of Ireland. The EMA also have information for newer medicines in Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, and Swedish.
