Your local health visiting team

by CWP News - 09 February 2016

Every child is entitled to the best possible start in life and health visitors play an essential role in achieving this.

Your local health visiting team in Ellesmere Port, provided by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) can offer this support in your area. CWP provides several ‘early help’ specialist services to support mums and families across its footprint. The health visiting service offers a range of support and advice to help children up to the age of 5 get off to the best start.

Claire Foden, health visitor team leader for Ellesmere Port, says, “We have recently relocated our main base from Neston Clinic to Great Sutton Clinic which means all our health visitors now work out of the same office. They cover the same geographic area as before and will offer the same high quality service.

“Your health visitor is part of a wider team looking after you and your child’s health and wellbeing. They will work with you to ensure you have all the right support in place to get off to a great start.

“All health visitor appointments remain the same, and you can still get involved in our popular clinics such as Well Baby, breastfeeding support, and appointments for your child’s development will still be held at Neston Clinic.”
