Ancora House is our specialist inpatient unit for young people who are having difficulties with their thoughts, feelings or behaviour and need a short stay in hospital.
Our staff team consists of psychiatrists, doctors, nurses and support workers, participation workers, clinical psychologists, family therapists and occupational therapists.
Indigo Ward
Indigo Ward has replaced Pine Lodge is a 12 bed inpatient mental health ward caring for young people with mental illness in West Cheshire.
Coral Ward
Coral Ward is the 14-bed acute assessment ward.
Ancora House School
Ancora House School is our on-site provision for a short stay school. We work with young people to develop a personalised learning plan to support their progress. We believe that the well-being of the student is of special importance and we aim to offer a positive experience where they can enjoy and achieve. Our short stay school at Pine Lodge has been rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.
Assessment and Outreach Team (AOT)
AOT are attached to Ancora House. They assess young people in Cheshire and Merseyside who are either experiencing a mental health crisis or have long standing mental health difficulties that have not improved in community treatment. They explore with young people, their parents and carers and the community team whether an inpatient admission may be of benefit. When indicated they can provide time limited step down work to young people and their families, to help reduce inpatient stay and offer additional support to help with the transitions to community care.
