Under Section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we have a legal duty to adopt and maintain a publication scheme for the publication of Trust information. The purpose of the Act is to promote greater openness by public authorities (of which CWP is one).

CWP responds to hundreds of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests per year. The FOI Act requires us to respond to these requests within 20 days and as a Trust we are able to achieve this with the vast majority of requests we receive.
The unprecedented challenges being faced by our services due to the COVID-19 pandemic places a significant amount of pressure on our ability to respond to FOI requests. This means that any requests sent to us at this time may be subject to delays in our response.
